Ken Robinson gives a presentation on the value of creativity in the lives of students today. His essential thesis is that the educational priorities in place today are left over from the industrial revolution and that the current societal reality and framework isn't being recognized or valued in schools.
We'll be watching this clip in-class so no need to watch ahead of time, however by including the video in this blog post you can see the immediate benefit of incorporating technology effectively in a presentation. Food for thought for your later efforts.

I liked this video
I also like it and I think it's mainly due to the fact that it asks us to consider ideas and reasons behind education that we never even consider. I certainly never thought about why we study languages and math so it's interesting to hear about its origins.
